About Valerie
I’ve been a productivity enthusiast for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family where ToDo lists were practically a way of life, it feels like we read David Allen's Getting Things Done before the ink was dry - and that was just the beginning! Over the years, I’ve devoured books, blogs, and videos on the subject, always eager to explore what makes systems click.
I also bring years of experience running businesses, including owning and selling a successful CPA firm whose clients were small businesses and high earning employees. This background gives me keen insight into the challenges entrepreneurs and professionals face.
Like so many high-achieving business owners, I was not immune to burnout. It hit hard and taught me a valuable lesson: productivity isn’t about getting more done—it’s about finding realistic systems that work for your brain, your capacity, your needs.

​Drawing on years of Insight meditation, somatic therapy, and yoga practice (including a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification), I rebuilt my approach to managing life’s demands through reflection and experimentation. This has evolved to become the You ToDo You way—combining practical tools with self-discovery to help others transform how they approach life’s demands.
