About Valerie
I’ve been a productivity enthusiast for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family where ToDo lists were practically a way of life, it feels like we read David Allen's Getting Things Done before the ink was dry - and that was just the beginning! Over the years, I’ve devoured books, blogs, and videos on the subject, always eager to explore what makes systems click.
I also bring years of experience running businesses, including owning and selling a successful CPA firm whose clients were small businesses and high earning employees. This background gives me keen insight into the challenges entrepreneurs and professionals face.
Like so many high-achieving business owners, I was not immune to burnout. It hit hard and taught me a valuable lesson: productivity isn’t about getting more done—it’s about finding realistic systems that work for your brain, your capacity, your needs.
Drawing on years of Insight meditation, somatic therapy, and yoga practice (including a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification), I rebuilt my approach to managing life’s demands through reflection and experimentation. This has evolved to become the You ToDo You way—combining practical tools with self-discovery to help others transform how they approach life’s demands.
